Description of Services

  • Represent the Mayor in fiscal matters with Local, State and Federal Governments
  • Serve as member of Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency & Buffalo Enterprise Development Corporation
  • Supervise the preparation and administration of the annual budget
  • Schedule and organize Mayor's public and private hearings
  • Monitors expenditures and revenues projected in the budget
  • Set the policy and prepare legislation for budget changes and personnel amendments
  • Prepare budget status reports and projections of future year fiscal plans
  • Keep abreast of State and Federal regulations affecting City Finances
  • Study methods and operations of the City in order to improve their efficiency, quality and effectiveness.
  • Perform financial analysis of City projects and operations
  • Maintain cost information of City employees fringe benefits for use in budget and contract negotiations.
