Dear City of Buffalo Senior Citizens:

The City of Buffalo and the Buffalo Economic Renaissance Corporation (BERC) have teamed up to offer Buffalo’s senior citizens a discount card to be used at participating Buffalo businesses. If you are at least fifty-five (55) years of age, this is an excellent opportunity for you, as a senior citizen, to save money while at the same time, support our city businesses.

Once you have downloaded the following senior discount application, fill it out by responding to the information requested, and then, please return the application to our office by mail or fax as indicated on the form. When we receive your application, we will immediately send you the Mayors Senior Discount Card and its’ accompanying booklet. Please sign the back of the card in the space provided.

The Senior Discount Card Booklet will contain a listing of Buffalo businesses that have agreed to participate in the Senior Discount Card Program. You will also find information on the type of discounts offered and any special requirements or restrictions that might apply. The Senior Discount Booklet already contains several hundred businesses and/or opportunities for savings, and we plan to keep growing the program. As new businesses are added, we will send you a new label containing the information you will need. Please place the new information label in your booklet on the page(s) provided.

If you require more information, contact the Division for Senior Services at (716) 851-4141, or send us a fax at (716) 851-5030. Thank you, in advance, for participating in the Mayors Senior Discount Card Program; it’s good for you, good for business, and good for Buffalo!

Sincerely,
Byron W. Brown
Mayor of Buffalo
