Job Training International Trade Partners The Department coordinates efforts with a host of local, state, and federal partners to promote development in Buffalo, including: Buffalo Economic Renaissance Corporation (BERC) - a full service economic development agency for the City of Buffalo that focuses on neighborhood-based economic development. Buffalo Niagara Enterprise (BNE) - provides comprehensive economic development assistance to new and existing companies in the eight counties of Western New York, including everything from demographic information to tax incentives to site identification. Buffalo Niagara Partnership - mission is to organize and undertake actions to expand private sector jobs and stimulate investments in the Buffalo Niagara region. Buffalo Urban Development Corporation (BUDC) - To create a dynamic and responsive project development process and team, capable of meeting the special needs and challenges associated with urban and high impact project development in Erie County. Empire State Development Corporation (ESD) - mission is to provide the highest level of assistance and service to businesses in order to encourage economic investment and prosperity in New York State. We work closely with businesses to: identify creative solutions to challenging problems, generate enhanced opportunities for growth, and help them achieve their uniquely important, short- and long-term goals. Erie County Industrial Development Agency (ECIDA) - is a public benefit corporation created in 1970 by act of the New York State Legislature to promote and assist private sector industrial / business development thereby advancing job opportunities and economic welfare to the people of Erie County, is the economic development corporation for Erie County. |
