FAQs

What is the purpose of the Rental Registration process?

►  To create and maintain a rental property owner and manager database in order to contact them regarding issues with
      their properties.  This is necessary to enforce housing code compliance and to assure safe and healthy housing in
      Buffalo.

What types of properties are required to be registered?

►  Mainly single and two-family homes that are not owner-occupied.  Some three-family and mixed-use dwellings may
      also be required to register.
