The City of Buffalo Division of Parks & Recreation is responsible for one of the finest parks systems in the entire State. The City of Buffalo has nearly 200 parks including the following historic parks designed by Frederick Law Olmsted: In addition to all City Parks, the City of Buffalo Parks and Recreation Division is also responsible for the following recreational centers:
  • JFK Community Center
  • Lanigan Fieldhouse
  • Lincoln Fieldhouse
  • Tosh-Collins Community Center
  • Hennepin Community Center
  • Peter J. Machnica Center, and
  • Asarese-Matters Community Center

The parks and recreational centers include amenities such as playing fields for soccer and baseball, indoor and outdoor courts for basketball, swimming pools, and pavilions. If you or your organization is interested in making reservations for any of these amenities, please follow the instructions in the applicable form on the right side navigation and provide the Division of Parks and Recreation with the information requested.
