Mayor Brown today, joined by Labatt Blue associate band manager Ryan Daley, conducted an on-site inspection of the ice rinks that will be used in this weekend's Labatt Blue Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament at the Erie Basin Marina. The tournament is expected to include 112 teams competing on Saturday, February 27th and Sunday, February 28th. Each team consists of six players and hundreds more spectators are anticipated for the two-day event on the City of Buffalo's waterfront.

City of Buffalo Commissioner of Economic Development Brian Reilly accepted the Congress for the New Urbanism’s prestigious 2009 Charter Award in Denver, Colorado on June 13th.
