Did you know that Buffalo has the sunniest and driest springs and summers in the northeast? Spring is a perfect time to walk along the waterfront or in the city's Frederick Law Olmsted-designed parks and watch Buffalo bloom. Summers are packed with festivals nearly every weekend, garden walks, farmers markets, boating on Lake Erie and live outdoor concerts downtown. And it’s the perfect season to take part in one of the city's many architectural tours and garden walks. In fall, the Buffalo Bills take the field at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, and families drive along country roads to check out the incredible foliage, grab some fresh cider, and go apple or pumpkin picking. And let go of the old stereotypes about Buffalo winters, because you're in store for some of the best skiing in the northeast, sledding and fun, quirky winter festivals. |
