JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) PUBLIC NOTICE – FISCAL YEAR 2012

Notice is hereby given that the City of Buffalo, in partnership with the County of Erie, and the Town of Cheektowaga is participating in a grant sponsored by the US Department of Justice, under the Bureau of Justice Assistance, entitled Edward Byrne Memorial 2012 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG).  This formula-grant award will be utilized to support various components within the criminal justice system such as local crime prevention, enhanced public safety through targeted and directed patrols, juvenile intervention/prevention programs, equipment and technology upgrades, and prosecutorial enhancement.
